Hey Erik, do you know where that bench went?? =)18 Jan 2010
This weekend we got to head back to Camp Sumatanga near Birmingham, Alabama to revisit one of the most famous 321 Improv moments of all time. In these parts it’s commonly referred to as the “breaking of the bench”. If you don’t know what we’re talking about you should visit our video page and take a look for yourself.
Anyway, we rolled in knowing we were in for a great weekend since we already know so many of you. And you did not disappoint us!
Things got started quickly during our time with you on Saturday when Andrew the Chicken Plucker made an appearance. Who knew that Eugene was such a popular name for chickens, right? And what an amazing skill it must be that Andres can speak telepathically with the chickens!!
Apparently some of you were up quite late Saturday night giggling about Eugene and the other poor chickens who are routinely plucked.
We also met our new friend Andy on Saturday. We’re so thankful for Andy because coming up with material for the rest of the weekend was pretty easy thanx to Andy and his bellybutton. I can honestly say we’ve never before had an audience member lift up their shirt to show us their bellybutton. And we’re hoping it never happens again!
The fun continued on Sunday when you had Adam chasing all the ants from his ant farm around and Erik following monkeys around to scoop their poo!
You were also on top of your game with suggestions like a Taser Tester wearing a Snuggie; a raccoon playing bagpipes and getting killed by a cattle prod; some giant nose hair trimmers; and one of my favorites a poster of everybody’s favorite, Chuck Norris!
But I think my favorite for suggestion of the weekend would have to go to the place of our Detective Mystery on Sunday afternoon! Taco Bell on top of Yogurt Mountain all stuffed inside Andy’s bellybutton!!
And we did get the explanation after the show that Yogurt Mountain is a frozen yogurt hot spot, not an actual mountain. Good to know. And you know the next time we’re in Alabama we’re going to be finding that place quickly!
Well, thank you so much for welcoming us back into the Behold family this year. You guys are great and we had a wonderful time with all of you!
We hope you had safe travels back home and we can’t wait to hear from you on our guestbook!
