First Fuego stop of the summer!16 Jul 2010

So I think this is year 12 for me at Camp Fuego in Bethany, Louisiana. And honestly, it just keeps getting better! My great friend Jeff Luce and his crew do an amazing job putting together a quality product there at Fuego and I’m always excited to get to be part of it.

And then besides the great staff there are all the other contributers like that amazing worship band and the great speakers and the nightly entertainment. And for me one of the highlights is sitting in on the nightly staff meeting and listening to all the leaders brag on you guys.

I don’t know if you were aware of it, but they’re watching you and they notice all the great things you do at camp. It’s amazing for me to hear the stories of you guys memorizing Bible verses and serving each other the way you do!

This year we rolled in a little tired from a busy week, but it was easy to be ready for the show, because you guys were FIRED up!! What a group!

First of all the questions almost didn’t stop from Mr-Know-It-All. I don’t think we’ve ever had people still wanting to ask more questions so long after we had moved on to other games. That was fantastic!

Then we had the privilege of working in the candy aisle at Wal-Mart! Is there a better job than that?

Okay, let’s talk about suggestion of the night. That factory where they make pudding was nice. Anytime you can work Bill Cosby and his love of pudding into the show, you're on to something.

But, people falling from the sky because all the Kit Kat’s had been eaten was probably my favorite.

Thank you for letting us hang out with you for the evening. We had a great time laughing with you and getting to talk to you after the show. And we can’t wait to hear from you on our guestbook!!
