Camp Electric – Week 221 Jul 2010

One of the coolest things about Camp Electric is meeting all of you and finding out all the different places you live. This week we met people from all over the United States as well as British Columbia and Mexico!

And then of course there was Elias, the tropical child. =) The timing couldn’t have been better! We went from Eli to Elias and immediately after we were making no sense talking about a “tropical child”, we meet Elias from Hawaii!! It was perfect!!

It’s always so intimidating to be on stage at Camp Electric. Everyday you’re hanging out with some of the best musical artists around, plus all of you have a bunch of musical talent as well.

We’re sandwiched right between people like DJ Maj and Disciple and then we wander on stage with our unique brand of goofiness. We’re so glad you enjoyed it!

Your creativity and weird suggestions really helps us get into it too! That Post Office / Daycare combination at the Toys R Us was great! And it’s always nice working a little Elmo impersonation in to the show.

I also enjoyed the picture of Chuck Norris carrying around a bathtub full of sporks; and an ice cream guy driving around on a magic carpet!

But whoever came up with the suggestion of the night is a bit disturbed…in a good way of course! We’re not really normal and we enjoy being around people who are also not normal. I think that’s why my favorite suggestion of the day was definitely “Who’s going to give grandpa a bath?”

Thanx for letting us hang out with you today. It’s great how all of you are at Camp Electric to develop your musical skills and we want to encourage you to listen to the voice of God in your life as He shows you how to use those skills for His glory!
